Hear from Past Heartlab Attendees

A New Perspective

She had a lightbulb moment that completely changed her perspective about dating and starting any new relationship.

A Warm & Safe Place to Be

Even though he entered a room full of strangers, we made it easy for him to step in. Come sit with us, and let's toast to love, unlocked.

Curious but still unsure?

Hi, I’m Claire, founder of The Talk Pub.

You might be circling the idea of joining a heartlab but haven’t taken the leap just yet. Maybe you’re wondering:
“What if I feel awkward?”
“What if it’s too intense? Too shallow? Too weird?”

Great questions. (I’d be asking them too.) That's why each heartlab is designed to make sure everyone feels comfortable and at ease as they learn how to make relationships work. There's no forced sharing, and you'll never be put on the spot. (Watch the videos above about some attendees' Talk Pub experiences.)

You’ll sit down around a dining table with strangers who, like you, are emotionally curious and looking to do love differently. By the end of the evening, you'd be asking yourself, "Why don't people talk like this more often?"

Come Sit With Us

One thing's for sure: you're not alone in trying to figure out what makes love work. At The Talk Pub, you'll experience rooms full of people doing exactly the same thing—together.

People sometimes ask:
“What if I’m older than most?”
“What if I’m queer?”
“What if my English isn’t perfect?”

Our answer? Come as you are. The only real requirement is that you care about relationships—and that you’re brave enough to start a conversation.

Because that’s where it all begins: the first hello, the first laugh, the first spark of connection. And suddenly, you’re not alone anymore. You’re in a room full of people who get why you’re here.

You don’t have to be ready. You just have to be real.

Some of the best connections in our lives are just waiting on the other side of, “Hello.”

Come curious. Come solo. Or with a friend.
There’s space for you here. 💛🗝️

What Inspired Us to Spread Love Know-how?

It might help if you understood why our founder created The Talk Pub:

Single. Dating. Confused.

Like many people, I learned about relationships through trial and error. Looking back, I wish I'd known some basic things about love, communication, and connection. It wouldn't have prevented every broken heart—but it certainly would have saved a few, including my own.

Today, I'm a college professor and a parent of adult children. I see young adults asking many of the same questions my generation asked.

The difference is that they're now doomscrolling through a flood of contradictory relationship advice. Some of it is helpful. Some of it is designed mainly to get clicks and views.

Psychologists and relationship scientists have spent decades studying love, attraction, communication, conflict, and commitment.

The challenge isn't that good information doesn't exist. It's that the people who need it most rarely encounter it in a practical, engaging, and human way.

That's why The Talk Pub exists. 💛 🗝️
