Why We Exist

✨  Most people still dream of love that lasts a lifetime. We hope for families that love and live happily together. We look around and see that, yes, for some people, it really happens.

Science has worked hard to understand what these lifelong love learners do. So can you.

If you believe that love is still very much worth it, come join a Talk Pub heartlab and be among the love learners too.  💛 🗝️

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at thetalkpub@gmail.com  or DM us on Instagram or Messenger @thetalkpub if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Nope—this is nothing like sitting in a solemn circle or listening to a long talk. We call them HeartLabs because they’re where meaningful relationships and science meet. It's part social experience, part self-discovery. We share bite-sized psychology insights (the kind that make you go “ah, that makes sense!”) and then jump into fun, guided activities that help you connect—both with yourself and with others. Think of it as a social mixer with depth—you’ll meet new people, learn something valuable about relationships (and yourself), and have a great time doing it.

Come experience a unique blend of creativity, conversation, and connection in our next heartlab.

It's dinner with deep conversations. It's learning how to connect better through connection. Every heartlab is curated, hosted, and structured by relationship consultants who hold a Professional Diploma in Family Ministry or have a background in psychology or education. Each heartlab is more than just an evening out. It's an evening that can change all future nights.

We have real feedback from past participants who loved the experience—you can read their words or watch their testimonials right here on our site or our social media pages.

Heartlabs attract curious, open-minded people who value growth and good company. Our themes come in different flavors for different people:

Talk Pub for Singles – for individuals who want to navigate the world of modern dating with more clarity. They come to The Talk Pub not to find “the one,” but to equip themselves with relationship skills that will matter most when they do find that special someone.

Talk Pub for Couples – for partners who want to deepen their connection through date nights with depth. These are couples who love experiencing new things together, fully aware that getting to know each other simply never stops.

Talk Pub for Parents– for parents of all ages; some themes are specific to those raising kids of a particular age group, while other themes cover broader topics. Those who join us come to hang with fellow growth-minded parents who want to understand their children better–so they can parent smarter, not harder.

Our heartlabs for singles, couples, and parents welcome all who take love seriously. For solo explorers, we aim for a balanced group dynamic. So when you book your slot, you will be asked how you identify, whether masculine or feminine energy. It refers to how you choose to show up in social or dating scenarios. Everyone interacts throughout the evening. Come sit with us.

All our heartlabs welcome people in every season of life. We've had guests join us from young adulthood all the way to their 60s--because learning about love and connection doesn't have an age limit. The only requirement is being at least 18 and open to growing.

We get it—meeting new people can feel intimidating. That’s why we’ve designed heartlabs to flow naturally, with guided but playful activities that make conversation easy (no cheesy forced sharing in front of everyone, promise!). You’ll reflect at your own pace, in a way that feels comfortable. One thing beautiful we love witnessing is the slow shedding of awkwardness between strangers. They start the afternoon or evening anonymously, (you’re not even required to declare your real name at the heartlabs) and slowly grow comfortable as the activities progress, and we leave it up to them to share socials with one another, if and with whom they wish.

Meet Our Founder

Hi, I'm Claire!

Claire Drueco, founder of the Talk Pub, holds a Professional Diploma in Family Ministries from RMT-CEFAM Loyola School of Theology, Ateneo de Manila University and is a certified coach using CBT, SFBT, and Group Life Coaching techniques. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from UP Diliman.

Alongside leading The Talk Pub heartlabs, Claire also facilitates its private Couples Conversation Sessions for partners who want a guided space to talk, reconnect, and understand each other better. It’s a session couples can do once a year—to check in with each other, take a look back at what’s been working, and what could be done better. It’s a habit most people are familiar with in other aspects of their lives. Annual physical exams, job evaluations, even our teeth and cars get maintenance checks every six months. But our romantic relationships? They’re often left to chance—that things will keep running smoothly without regular maintenance checks. Until death do us part.

Drawing from her experience in relationship education, family ministry, and pre-Cana facilitation through RMT-CEFAM, Claire helps couples have the kinds of conversations that are often hard to start and keep on doing regularly on their own. Ask us about Couples Conversation Sessions with The Talk Pub.
